Christian de l'Argy

Christian de l'Argy

Born in the wagon of a travelling show where his momma had to dance for the money they'd throw... Well, not quite. My mother was a professional singer, so I guess I got bitten by the 'performing bug' at an early age.

I was a member of Northamptonshire County Youth Group and from there graduated to several amateur operatic societies, gradually working my way up from 'third passer-by on the right' to leading roles such as Curly in Oklahoma, The Emcee in Cabaret and Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar.

After moving to Norwich, twenty odd years ago, I've been involved at the Studio Theatre and the Maddermarket Theatre amongst others. Having always liked musical theatre, I really enjoyed seeing the Upper Octave and wanted to be a part of it, so I pestered them into giving me an audition. Luckily, they took pity on me and let me in.
