Keith Turner
Keith is an integral part of the Upper Octave team as he is responsible for balancing the diverse voices of the group on stage. In large ensemble numbers, making sure everyone is heard (not just the bellowing voices of Martyn and Gus!) takes a great deal of talent and skill.
The smooth running of our shows depends on Keith - for the hours of preparation and editing he does at home, the setting up of the speakers, microphones and several hundred metres of cabling on show-days, and also his steady nerves to press the right buttons at the right time on the night. Each show is as much a performance for Keith as it is for the singers on stage!
This means Keith is usually the first to arrive and the last to leave. His expertise allows the Upper Octave to reproduce a professional theatre sound, wherever they perform.
