Roger Thacker
Roger, like Martyn, has been involved in every show the Upper Octave has ever produced. He is responsible for the superb lighting that makes our shows the fabulous spectacle we all enjoy. From design to production, Roger is dedicated to providing the best possible lighting and visual effects.
As the Upper Octave travels with its productions, unlike technicians in custom-built theatres, Roger has to adapt his lighting to a different stage every time. Sometimes he has arrived at a venue to discover only two power sockets and so has had to re-wire entire buildings in order to produce the show he wants!
As well as being a talented electrician, Roger has great empathy with the performances and demonstrates much lighting skill in creating moods to suit the music. Audiences are continually impressed by the standard and innovation of Roger's work.
