Trevor Butler
In the 1980s I rediscovered (at a relatively mature age) that I could sing a bit, and subsequently strutted my stuff with several local organisations including The Martineau Singers, Norfolk Opera Players and Phoenix Opera.
For the past few years I enjoyed treading the boards with the Upper Octave until I realised that the cost of Grecian 2000 was beginning to outweigh the buzz of thunderous applause, so I decided to hang up the bow tie and retire gracefully.
However, I should have known that there was no escape, and as well as
continuing as Treasurer, I am experiencing the delights of
Stage Management, Front of House, and
helping to set up on show days.
